Trainee Recruitment Consultant

About Lewis

Lewis graduated from the University of Southampton with an integrated Master's degree in Biology and Marine Biology, joining Venture Recruitment Partners in December 2025.

During his degree, he developed an analytical mindset that helped him identify key details to critically examine scientific research. When it comes to starting his recruitment journey, this is a transferable skill that helps him identify people's strengths and apply them in the best context possible. He also learnt how to adapt communication styles when presenting research to both non-specialists and world-leading academics, which will be useful when speaking to a range of candidates and clients.

Working alongside Tom Barker, Lewis recruits contract, temporary, and interim finance and accounting roles at both the part-qualified and qualified levels. In his role, Lewis is looking forward to: 'making connections and establishing relationships to build and grow my own network, and I am always excited by new challenges and environments'.

Outside of work, Lewis is into a lot of sports, including Football and Tennis. He's also done Bouldering for over 10 years. His other hobbies include playing the piano, guitar and double bass, as well as painting and exploring nature and the outdoors.
