About Michelle

Michelle has more than two decades of experience specialising in finance recruitment across the FMCG and retail sectors in London, Hampshire, and the Thames Valley. Starting her career as a trainee at a multinational recruitment agency, Michelle spent 12 years progressing her career and establishing herself as a top national performer, leading high-performing teams across interim and permanent recruitment.

After leaving the recruitment agency where her career began, Michelle worked at a leading corporation, progressing from internal recruitment to the Executive Search division, where she refined her search capability and built strong client relationships. Most recently, Michelle ran her own boutique finance recruitment business, partnering with a wide range of consumer brands, supporting them with mid-level and senior finance hires.

Across her career, Michelle has developed deep sector knowledge, a people-first approach, and a reputation for delivering high-quality finance talent with honesty, pace, and genuine care. Building long-term, trusted relationships has always been at the heart of what she does.

Joining Venture in December 2025, Michelle specialises in mid to senior finance recruitment for innovative scale-ups to established global brands with a strong foothold in the FMCG and retail sectors. Her focus is on delivering permanent senior finance appointments, working across retained search and contingent recruitment.

Outside of work, spends a lot of my time on the football pitch! She's a coach for the Sherborne St John U10s and U11s teams in Basingstoke, and also supports the league as a Child Welfare Officer. Giving back to the community is something Michelle genuinely loves, and she's passionate about creating positive, safe environments for young players to grow.

Charity and challenge events are another big part of Michelle's life—she's completed London to Brighton, several half marathons, the London Marathon, and this year, she organised a football tour to PSG for her U11s team, which was an incredible experience for the boys.
