Venture Recruitment Partners are working with market leading Financial Services company in their search for an to join their team in central Southampton. Our client is rapidly expanding in to the European market and specialises in E-commerce. This role will report directly to the Head of Tax and give the candidate the opportunity to develop and progress in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Tax preparation and submission to HMRC
- Work with clients and HMRC to ensure all tax submissions are made correctly and on time
- Developing client relationships
- Act in an advisory capacity to the client. E.g. Offering company tax advice
- Manage process change and implementation
Essential Skills
- ACCA or ACA or CTA Qualified/newly qualified/Finalist
- Extensive UK Tax understanding, particularly VAT and Corporation tax
- Ability to travel to Central Southampton 5 days a week
- At least three years of accountancy experience with clear career progression in terms of accounting and increased levels of responsibility
- Ability to manage own portfolio and workload efficiently and effectively
