Title: Accountant
Salary: £44,000 - £48,000 + 10% bonus
Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a large multinational organization in their search for an accountant to join their Shared Service Centre team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for multiple entities within the organization and offers excellent progression opportunities. Alongside the 10% bonus, they also offer a very flexible work model with only two days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure each set of books’ month end actuals are prepared
- Calculations, posting and reconciliations, including direct costs, revenue, transaction fees, accrued and prepaid costs and overheads
- Review of P&L/TB for each assigned country before submission
- Work closely with the Countries Finance team to explain entries and make adjustments
- Reconciliation of assigned balance sheet control accounts and preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations to timetable
- Assist with Audit and SOX controls and country statutory and tax regulations
- Assist countries with the preparation of VAT returns and Financial Statements and any other regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified or Finalist
- Strong Accounting and Technical KNowledge
- Experience in a strong financial controls environment
