Accountant
Location: Basingstoke (Hybrid – 3 days in the office)
Salary: Up to £41,000 + benefits

The Role
As an Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely completion of financial tasks in line with accounting policies and standards. You’ll help to embed robust financial controls, drive process improvements, and build strong relationships with finance teams and business partners across multiple international entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting across multiple international legal entities.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support management of the process.
- Assist with the preparation of audited financial statements.
- Maintain systems of accounts and financial records in line with company standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support financial reporting and variance analysis.
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and best practice within the Record to Report function.
- Support the Senior Accountant and contribute to team-wide performance goals and deadlines.
About You
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) – ideally in the final stages of qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance role with exposure to month-end close and financial analysis.
- Desirable if you had an understanding of a shared service centre
- Experience contributing to process improvement or efficiency initiatives.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders across all levels.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
