Are you an experienced and qualified (or exam-qualified) accountant looking to join a high-performing global finance team? We’re partnering with a leading international business to find an Accountant to join their Record to Report (R2R) function, based in Basingstoke.

In this role, you'll ensure the accurate and timely completion of month-end activities, maintain robust financial controls, and play a key role in improving processes and supporting continuous transformation. You’ll collaborate with finance teams across regions and become a reliable point of contact for stakeholders and leadership.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting across international entities

  • Supervise month-end close processes, ensuring compliance and consistency

  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and contribute to the audit process

  • Support the Finance Manager and assist in driving operational efficiency

  • Collaborate with wider teams across the finance hub to streamline R2R processes

  • Identify and implement improvements in systems and ways of working

  • Act as a subject matter expert, supporting junior team members when needed

What we’re looking for:

  • Fully qualified or exam-qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and practical experience with financial close

  • Proven track record in financial analysis, reporting, and audit support

  • Experience working in a shared service or international finance environment

  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and support teams

  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and managing multiple priorities
