Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a well established local business looking for an Accounts Assistant for a hybrid working role in central Bournemouth.
The role would be best suited to someone with Accounts Assistant experience who has previously worked in a multi-channel/multi-revenue stream environment.
Working closely with the Financial Controller and Financial Accountant this role will be responsible for;
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct comprehensive Monthly Profit and Loss Analysis to derive actionable insights.
- Ensure accurate posting of Prepayments and Accruals with thorough documentation and backup.
Fixed Asset Management and Reconciliation:
- Maintain Fixed Asset register, including handling depreciation and amortization journals.
- Reconcile Balance Sheets to enhance financial accuracy and integrity.
Revenue Oversight and Sales Support:
- Conduct thorough reconciliation of Merchant and Revenue accounts to gain a clear view of financial transactions.
- Manage Accounts Receivable for international dealers maintaining timely and accurate records.
- Provide efficient day-to-day support to the Sales team, addressing their queries promptly.
Audit Preparedness and Compliance:
- Assist in preparing for audits to facilitate a smooth and successful process.
- Ensure strict compliance with all financial accounting and tax obligations, upholding high standards of regulatory adherence.
Process Improvement and Data Management:
- Actively contribute to enhancing systems and procedures within the finance department.
- Utilize Netsuite and Excel proficiently to manipulate data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
The role will require 3 days per week from a central Bournemouth office with 2 days working from home paying a salary of up to £32,000. Study support will be provided to people looking to progress through AAT or further studies. Existing AAT level 2/3 would be advantageous.
