Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a well-known engineering business in Marchwood who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on an ongoing basis.
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:
- Management and maintenance of an organised ledger, as well as purchase order systems and reconciling banks.
- Coding and sorting purchase invoices, posting bank payments and liaising with clients regarding payment dates.
- Distributing purchase order numbers, ensuring correct authorisation and maintenance of the purchase order schedule.
- Inputting sales invoices and allocating received payments.
The company deals with high volumes of transactional work; therefore, you must be able to process large volumes accurately and efficiently. Good communication skills via the phone and email are essential as you will be communicating with finance and non-finance individuals.
