Venture Recruitment Partners are working with market leading Financial Services company in their search for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in central Southampton. Our client is rapidly expanding in to the European market and specialises in E-commerce. This role will report directly to the Ledger Manager and give the candidate the opportunity to develop and progress in a fast paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Matching, checking, and coding invoices
- Generating payment runs and seeking approvals for invoicing
- Processing staff expenses
- Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Month end duties
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Administration experience using financial systems
- The ability to work in Central Southampton 5 days a week
- Comfortable with use of Microsoft Office applications and SAGE or a similar accounting package
- Demonstrates good critical thinking skills to understand client issues
