Assistant Accountant

Are you an Assistant Accountant looking for your next position?

Venture Recruitment Partners are partnering with a global logistics company in Southampton. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the purpose of the role is to provide support with administration and finance activities in the UK.

Key responsibilities :

  • Raise necessary Sales invoices for various customers both external and internal
  • Collating costs 
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Deliver on department KPI's as well as those KPI's contractually agreed with customers

Key requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Minimum intermediate level)
  • Finance education to at least degree level or equivalent

Duration - 1 year FTC
Rate - £23,000 - 30,000 P/A
