Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a global business based in Basingstoke. Our client is a fun, well known organisation and they are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a Permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic ever evolving organisation.
The client would describe themselves as being fast paced and a fun place to work. Being fast paced, this role requires a well organised individual with excellent numerical skills, and an ability to be able to think and act commercially.
You will be responsible for:
- Producing cash flow forecasts on a weekly/monthly basis, liaising with relevant departments and people to obtain the right information
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigation and resolution of items on financial statements
- Accurate and timely reporting of contractual arrangements, reporting and tracking any issues arising
- Project support work
- Ensuring that reports are delivered on time
- Analysis work

You will need strong system skills and advanced Excel.
A desire to study or be Studying ACCA / CIMA would be beneficial.
You’ll need first class communication and great attention to detail, as you’ll provide financial insight across the business and support with various projects that are ongoing.
The Salary on offer is between £32,000 and £38,000 depending on experience.
