Financial Assistant (Part Time)

Prestigious FMCG Business – Andover
Contract: 1 January – 30 April | 2–3 Days Per Week - Salary c£35 DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly respected FMCG organisation in Andover as a Financial Assistant on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic chance to support a fast-paced finance team during a key trading period and gain exposure within a market-leading brand.

The Role:

As the Financial Assistant, you will provide essential support to the Financial Control Manager and wider finance team, ensuring accurate reporting and smooth month-end processes during the contract period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete monthly reconciliation of cash accounts across online D2C, Amazon, and two key B2B customers.
  • Produce and deliver weekly reporting of trade deductions.
  • Support with journal creation and posting.
  • Assist with Capex tracking and reporting.
  • Provide month-end support to the Financial Control Manager, ensuring deadlines and reporting standards are met.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a finance support, finance assistant, or similar role.
  • Exposure to Amazon, D2C, or B2B channels is highly desirable.
  • Part-qualified or currently studying towards a finance qualification (AAT / ACCA / CIMA) beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, good Excel skills, and the ability to work independently across 2–3 days per week.
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
