Bookkeeper

Venture are working with a local accountancy practise looking for an experienced bookkeeper for a role based in Wimborne. 

This role would offer exposure to a wide variety of companies, industries and ways of working that will allow an individual to broaden their experience in a fast paced environment.

This role would best suit someone with practise experience, although this is not essential, who has experience of a combination of VAT returns, reconciliations, pre-payments and accruals and payroll. A candidate with either AAT or further qualifications would be advantageous as would 2 years of bookkeeping experience.

The ideal candidate would have strong time management, organisation and communication skills and be happy managing multiple workstreams and working alongside both finance and non-finance professionals.

Key duties and responsibilities include:
*2+ years of solid bookkeeping experience
*Knowledge of C.I.S. returns would be beneficial but not essential.
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
*Bank and card reconciliations, posting of depreciation, prepayments, accruals etc.
*Experience using Xero and Sage would be ideal but not essential.
*Payroll knowledge and or experience of processing
