£60 - £70,000 per annum

Venture Recruitment Partners are supporting a growing PE backed business, based on the outskirts of Portsmouth, in their search for a Commercial Pricing Manager.

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Pricing Manager include:

  • Manage the Company’s trading position to ensure profit and growth
  • Develop, implement and manage strategic and tactical pricing initiatives ensuring the use of appropriate techniques
  • Perform competitor analysis on similar products and services
  • Scope out opportunities based on market trends and industry condition
  • Substantially contribute to the evaluation and development of the long-term pricing strategy, pricing tools and performance in co-operation with the Exec team.
  • Take ownership of all pricing data and MI across the business, ensuring all data is robust and a full suite of relevant MI is available and embedded across the business.
  • Continuous in-depth analysis of customer behaviour and reaction to price changes

 

Key skills and experience of the Commercial Pricing Manager include:

  • Significant experience of implementing and developing pricing strategy in a fast paced/high volume environment.
  • Highly skilled in data manipulation, analytics and modelling
  • Strategic perspective
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with thorough attention to detail
  • Pragmatic problem solver
  • Previous experience of either Tableau or Power BI

Outside of current restrictions, the business operates a hybrid working model with 3-4 days in the office, 1-2 days from home.
