Venture are working with a large local employer in Weymouth looking a finance professional with reconciliations experience, strong excel skills and an interest in data/analytics for a role with hybrid working, study support and strong internal development opportunities.
This role has hybrid working (average 3 days per week in the office) and would best suit a progressive finance professional who has good attention to detail.
Some of the key functions of this role are;
- Responsible for the maintenance of the general ledger structure
- Responsible for period- and year-end closing processes for the general ledger
- Calculating and processing group period end adjustments
- Responsible for the monthly intercompany reconciliations and creation of intercompany invoices.
- Assistance with preparation of Group disclosures and stat notes for annual reporting
- Supporting year end audit, providing detailed listings and support to auditors
- Monthly high-level reconciliation of all store revenue between SAP and BI.
- Creation of Purchase Orders as requested, and receipting/authorisation of invoices
