JOB TITLE Finance Assistant
Permanent Position
Salary- £23,000 - £26,000

At Venture Recruitment Partners we are working with a market leader in the Travel and Tourism sector, based in Fareham, in their search for a Finance Assistant. Reporting to the Finance Operations Accountant, this role will offer excellent long-term progression and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and expanding company.
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and reconciling General Ledger Accounts including cash and bank, sales ledgers, purchase ledgers
- Preparation of daily bank summaries
- Preparation of monthly cash reconciliations
- Review and maintenance of purchase ledgers
- Raising of purchase ledger and bank payments for approval
- Review and maintenance of sales ledgers and aged debt schedules, including also sales ledger close
Finance Assistant Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a transactional finance role
- Experience of working in a large business (Desireable)
- AAT Studier (Desireable)
