Venture Recruitment Partners are working with market leading Financial Services company in their search for a Finance Assistant to join their team in central Southampton. Our client is rapidly expanding in to the European market and specialises in E-commerce. This role will report directly to the Ledger Manager and give the candidate the opportunity to develop and progress in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Record and update all receipts on a daily basis
- Work closely with other departments, including credit control
- Reconcile bank accounts and cash receipts
- Creating Journals for accounting corrections
- Allocating receipts and payments
- To ensure all outgoing payments are correctly recorded on the system
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Administration experience using financial systems
- Comfortable with use of Microsoft Office applications and SAGE or a similar accounting package and Excel
- Be able to come to Central Southampton 5 days a week
