Finance Manager

Job Description

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a well-known, Leisure business based in Southampton, in their search for a Finance Manager. Working closely with the Head of Finance you will take ownership of  the role and you will manage two direct reports. 

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following: 

  • Business Partnering with the Senior Management team, whilst working closely with the Group FD on co-ordinating and generating budgets and forecasts
  • You will drive continuous improvement of current business processes and looking at the business's financial performance 
  • Production of monthly Management Accounts including Profit and Loss accounts, Balance
  • Sheets and Cash Flow Statements. Ensuring accounting policies are in line with UK GAAP
  • Preparation of Owners meeting pack and attendance at Monthly Owners meeting
  • Preparation of Board Finance Report and attendance at Quarterly Board meetings
  • Liaison with auditors and managing the annual audit process

About you: 

  • ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Qualified/ Finalist 
  • Strong Excel skills 
  • Great communication skills with the ability to work well others 
  • Previous team management and supervision would be preferred, but isn't essential
