Finance Manager

A leading PE backed business with an uplifting and inclusive culture, is looking for a Finance Manager to join them.

This is a great opportunity to combine various short and long term finance projects, as well as BAU.

You will play a pivotal role in the timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting whilst delivering exceptional support to both internal and external stakeholders. The role will collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders to support process efficiencies and drive best practice, whilst taking ownership of the company’s monthly management accounts.

Finance Manager – The Role

  • Ownership of the monthly management accounts across the group companies and reviewing the teams works
  • Assisting with the acquisition and finance integration of newly purchased companies
  • Preparing annual statutory accounts across the group and taking a lead role in managing external audit requests;
  • Assist with external reporting requests and the management of key stakeholders including shareholders, banks, auditors, and other professional services providers; of quarterly VAT & HMRC submissions.
  • Lead and support with the design and implementation of robust and efficient financial controls alongside key improvement initiatives to enhance management reporting;
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of finance processes and accounting policies to ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Support with other ad hoc projects such as the design and testing of a new finance system.
  • Managing a team of 3 management accountants

Finance Manager – The Person

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Must have prior people/team management experience
  • Prior management accounts experience
  • Communicative, empathetic and astute leader

Finance Manager – The Package

  • Salary – up to £60,000 plus car allowance
