FP&A Manager

Job Description

Our client, a PE-backed Consultancy business based near Hammersmith in South-West London, is seeking to recruit a FP&A Manager for a on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role due to exceptional growth the business has been experiencing over the past 18 months. 

Key Responsibilities of the FP&A Manager include:

  • Acts as a business analyst for a number of the Group’s Business Units, with specific responsibility for maintaining “business partner” relationship with Group management
  • Provides high quality financial and commercial resource to Group management supporting the delivery of the business agenda
  • Provides genuine and thought-leading insight and recommendations to the business and leadership team by developing a comprehensive understanding of the Group,
  • Leads on major projects across the Group, including acquisition evaluations, business restructurings, efficiency reviews etc.
  • Plays a vital role in the group’s planning, budgeting & forecasting processes, including synthesising insight and analysis from reporting systems data.
  • Reviews and inputs to the evaluation of capital projects and marketing investments, providing insight and recommendations to senior management. 

Key Skills/Experience of the FP&A Manager include:

  • Significant commercial experience including business planning & analysis
  • Previous experience of working with senior non-finance managers
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
  • Project management experience (desirable)
  • Highly analytical and detail conscious, whilst being able to spot trends, digest information quickly and distil issues effectively
  • Comfortable in the detail and at the top level
  • Ability to develop great relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent influencing and engagement skills

This position can be based remotely with only occasional visits to the office.
