Interim Finance Manager – VRP2571

£60,000 - £65,000

Our client, a leading Financial Services business in Whiteley, is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager for an initial 3 months.


Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:

  • Responsible for all aspects of accounting
  • Ensure a robust control environment is maintained, including maintenance of all balance sheet reconciliations
  • Management and mentoring of staff
  • Creation, analysis, and support of management information to the business
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of management and statutory financial statements
  • Develop a proactive approach to analysis of financial data going beyond timely and accurate preparation understanding why and where action is required
  • Management of the year-end audit process


Key skills/experience of the Finance Manager include:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent), with a minimum of 3 years PQE
  • Experience of producing thoughtful and relevant management information, acting as a commercially minded financial business partner to other business areas
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and developing a team
  • Sound technical accounting and reporting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail critical
