Part Qualified Management Accountant

Job Description

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a very well-known business in Bracknell.  The client is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join a large, established team.   As a Management Accountant you will be focusing on international entities with the goal of building and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders internally and externally, maintaining all financial controls and systems within your role recommending potential operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and procedures.

you will need to ensure all key tasks are completed to scheduled timelines and in line with accounting policies and take ownership of balance sheet accounts and reviews with Finance managers. 

The Role

  • Accurate and timely month end reporting in line with company schedules
  • Processing and coordinating period end close activities.
  • Preparation of month-end analysis and commentary for management reporting.
  • Completion of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Processing and co coordinating Fixed Asset register.
  • Liaise with internal and external audit teams.
  • Maintain financial controls in accordance with group policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Take ownership of balance sheet accounts.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Part qualified ACCA or CIMA with experience within a finance role.
  • Experience of month end close process.
  • Experience of process improvements and standardising finance processes.
  • Fixed Asset reporting experience would be highly desirable.
  • Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Proactive individual with experience working in a flexible and changing environment.
