Our client, a FTSE listed business in Surrey, is seeking to recruit a Payroll Transformation Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Reporting into the Director this is a project focused role where you will be responsible for reviewing the current process to understand what could be done in a more efficient and cost-effective way. You will also be tasked with reviewing the quality of the information coming from different sites to be processed. You will get involved with system pre-implementation work, which will involve reviewing the current system, putting together a tender template, and advising on possible suppliers. The business is going through a large-scale transformation and you will be comfortable operating in what is a fast-paced changing organisation.
You will have payroll transformation experience ideally gained in a large company environment. Experience of the tender process together with vendor management and process improvement work is also essential. You will be a good communicator and comfortable working in collaboration and challenging a third-party provider where appropriate.
