Purchase Ledger Clerk

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a local manufacturing brand to offer an exciting Purchase Ledger Clerk role on a part time basis paying around £27,000 FTE. This role has significant capacity for flexibility in hours, working days and the hybrid working after a training period.

This role will be between 25-32 hours and can be done across 3/4/5 days. These hours must be done within a consistent pattern but the set up of those hours is very flexible. The office closes at lunchtime on Friday. After a 6 month probation period there is also the potential for hybrid working with 1-2 days working from home dependant upon the number of hours and how they are split.

Key responsibilities for the role include;
• Compiling VAT returns ready for review
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Posting of cash payments from bank
• Answering any purchase ledger queries with suppliers
• Set up of new suppliers in SAP
• Posting credit card statements to correct general ledger codes
• Conducting annual archiving of documents
• Administering of Goods Received not Invoiced accounts

This role would suit a strong excel user with Purchase Ledger experience and good communication skills. Experience using SAP and an understanding of VAT would be beneficial but is not essential.
