Senior Accounts Assistant

Job Description

Venture Recruitment Partners are working as a growth-oriented, commercially driven technology group in their search for a Senior Accounts Assistant. 

This Marchwood-based company are able to offer an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and passionate team and provide both Finance/Accountancy responsibilities as well as exposure to operational responsibilities and wider business insight.   

This role is fully office-based. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Load supplier and customer invoices
  • Cost of sale journals
  • Monthly payment runs/pro-forma invoices
  • Manage overdue debt
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Expedite purchase orders
  • Set up new suppliers
  • Price/UOM & any other adjustments
  • Update standard costs and cost roll-up
  • Monitor & arrange facility servicing
  • Raise sales orders/order acknowledgements
  • Arrange shipping/couriers
  • Monitor & maintain all ongoing service contracts

Key Skills:

  • Team player - able to help in all areas of the business
  • Previous experience in a similar wrong 
  • Knowledge & Experience of both the Payables and Receivables Ledger
