Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a leading UK Services business, based on the outskirts of Southampton, in their search for a Systems Accountant.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, responsibilities will include:
- Support the production of the monthly management accounts, maintenance of MI and reporting systems, producing suitable commentary for Management.
- Play a key role in work in progress valuations and production of cash flow reports.
- Support and become a subject matter expert in the upgrading of financial systems.
- Design and implement performance management dashboards in order for senior management to make commercially viable decisions.
- Production of income recognition calculations for WIP on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the annual statutory accounts and audit.
You will be:
- A qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or Qualified By Experience Accountant.
- Advanced Excel with modelling skills.
- Knowledge of SQL is a pre-requisite.
- Experience in the production of management accounts.
- Ability to extract and interpret complex financial data before presenting to senior stakeholders.
