Position: Assistant Accountant/Accountant (Tax)
Rate/ Salary: £25,000- £35,000
Qualifications: AAT Studier or ATT Studier or ACCA Studier or CIMA studier
Description: Venture Recruitment Partners are working with market leading Financial Services company in their search for an Assistant Accountant or Accountant to assist in the Tax team.
The key responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant or Accountant will include:
Responsibilities:
- Filing offline VAT returns in a timely manner
- Advising clients which tax office to make payments to
- Review thresholds in place in each country and notify European offices of such data
- Managing client’s accounts in co-ordination with the Credit Control Department
- Inform clients of potential VAT penalties within all Countries
- Corresponding with clients in relation to tax authorities in Europe
Skills/Experience:
- Experience working in VAT/Accountancy/Finance department
- Works well in a small team as well as independently
