Environment
At Venture Recruitment Partners, we care for the planet, just as we care for our candidates and clients.
In 2021, and 2022 we partnered with Sequester to ensure we were a Carbon Negative business by planting trees for each candidate we placed.
Now, in 2024 we're proud to say we have offset our Carbon emissions for the whole of 2023 by collaborating with Carbon Neutral Britain and contributing towards their Woodland Fund project. You can discover more about our journey with Carbon Neutral Britain here.
Not only do we take action against the impact our business has on the planet, but we are proactive in minimising that impact through working from home regularly to reduce travel, recycling our waste, and avoiding overuse of paper.
Community
At Venture, we are committed to giving back to the area in which we work, through community partnerships, volunteering, and charitable donations. We passionately support local charities, Naomi House and Jacksplace, and regularly raise money for these fantastic causes.
Both provide specialist hospice care to hundreds of life-limited and life-threatened children, young adults, and their families from Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Berkshire, West Sussex, Surrey, and the Isle of Wight.
In 2022 our Director Matt Whitton took part in a 400-mile cycle from Gretna Green to Southampton and raised over £2,600 for Naomi House and Jacksplace.
In May 2023 we provided support at the five-mile mark at the Clarendon Way Walk handing out much-needed refreshments for all the walkers, raising money for Naomi House & Jacksplace. You all did amazing! Click to read more
In 2023 we hosted our first Southampton Charity Quiz Night, and a second in Wimborne raising a total of £870 for Naomi House & Jacksplace.
