On Sunday, hundreds of walkers set off on the Clarendon Way Walk.
Each person walked 5, 12 or 26 miles to raise money for Naomi House & Jacksplace, enjoying a sunny day surrounded by volunteers and walkers.
📍 What Makes the Clarendon Way So Special
The Clarendon Walk is Naomi House & Jacksplace's biggest fundraising event of the year. Held annually, it brings together walkers of all skill levels and ages for one mission: to raise money for the amazing work they do.
Setting off from Winchester Cathedral, the full walk took fundraisers to Salisbury Cathedral. Along the way, pitstops hosted by local businesses provided refreshments and renewed motivation to walkers.
The Chilworth and Venture team took part in both the walk and the pit stop to help support Naomi House, raising £497 and handing out many cups of tea and bananas!

💚 Naomi House & Jacksplace: Care That Transforms Lives
Naomi House opened in 1997, and Jacksplace, established in 2010, offers expert, compassionate palliative and respite care. Together, they support over 300 children and young adults aged 0–35 throughout seven counties in central southern England .
Naomi House serves children and young people (up to 16/18), providing clinical care, play and sensory therapies, a hydrotherapy pool, emergency respite, end-of-life support, and bereavement suites.
Jacksplace caters to 16–35 year-olds, nurturing independence through 24-hour nursing care, social activities, hydrotherapy, and emotional and bereavement support.
These hospices are lifesavers for families, offering solace and strength “on good days, difficult days and last days”– a mission echoed in every step taken on the Clarendon Way.
