Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a rapidly growing business on the outskirts of Hedge End in their recruitment for an Accounts Payable Clerk for an initial 1-month temporary basis. There may be a potential for the role to be extended.
The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for:
- Drive process improvements by changing vendor processes behaviours
- Drive reduction in vendor proliferation
- Drive vendor consolidation on company system
- Consolidated billing where appropriate
- Review and enhance PO segmentation policy as appropriate
- Review segmentation against vendor data
- Drive adoption of low value purchasing; develop low value segmentation policy
- Drive process adoption
- Develop training for users across process areas
- Develop key contacts list for support and handover to key users
- Review and update training material
- Review and revise definitions of key master data fields
- Oversee enrichment of data fields as required
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Payable Clerk job will have:
- Accounts Payable experience desirable
- First class communication skills
- Good time management
- Experience working in a large, fast-paced business
This role will be fully office-based.
