Assistant Accountant (Service Charge)

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a National business looking for Assistant Accountants on both a temporary (maternity leave cover) and permanent basis to join their Service Charge Team.

These roles are office based just outside Bournemouth. Experience working in Service Charge would be advantageous although people with finance experience, especially in construction or property, will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities (these will vary across service charge maternity cover, service charge permanent and Senior services Charge but may include);

  • Manage a portfolio of lodges to complete year end accounts, service charge budgets and bank reconciliations in accordance with the CEM workflow.
  • Deal with any queries the auditors raise.
  • Where required, management of critical Right To Manage (RTM) lodges as determined by the Service Charge Accounts Supervisor.
  • Complete the financial onboarding and offboarding of Lodges (CRL & Non-CRL)
  • Ensuring Financial handover is completed and opening balances are posted.
  • Be responsible for organising new developments utility contracts.
  • Assist Service Charge Accounts Supervisor with systems reviews and process change.
