Assistant Management Accountant

Summary:
Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a well-established global organisation in Basingstoke

Our client is looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join their existing friendly team on a permanent basis.

Your role will play an important part in the overall performance of the business.

Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Fixed asset and CAPEX reporting
  • Management of the fixed asset register
  • Month end postings
  • Reconciliations and commentary to explain variances
  • Month end accruals and prepayments postings
  • Assisting with preparation of the month end pack
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts

The Company:
This organisation is a global, well-known brand. They pride themselves in having a fun friendly working culture.  You will be required to be in the office 4 days a week and there is opportunity to work from home 1 day a week.  There is also flexible working hours available, core hours being 10am – 4pm.

Skills & Experience:
You are required to work with large volumes of data and therefore being able to navigate multiple excel spreadsheets is essential.

Good communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with various individuals from the wider business.

An ambitious, results driven person would be ideal.  Workload can be heavy and therefore it is essential that you can prioritise tasks.

A flexible individual that is happy to work alone or as par of a team is ideal.   There is the opportunity to have study support included as part of the benefits package.
