Finance Manager

Venture Recruitment Partners are assisting a growing and diverse Financial Services business based near Whiteley in their search for a Finance Manager. Reporting to the Head of Department, responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of outsourced work for a portfolio of clients.
  • Prepare and analyse KPI reporting, working with counterparts across jurisdictions to plan and execute delivery.
  • Review outputs, making sure they are delivered by a small team of direct reports and ensuring that all relevant procedures and policies are being adhered to.
  • Act as line manager to a small team of studying Accountants, ensuring that they are effectively supervised, coached, directed, engaged and encouraged.
  • Work with the senior management team to monitor both the operational and financial performance of the team, identifying and implementing improvements where necessary to maximise business profitability. 

You will be:

  • A qualified Accountant, preferably ACA or ACCA. 
  • Experience of managing a small portfolio of clients or relationships.
  • Experience of managing a small team, including coaching and delegation.
  • Sound technical accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • A good degree of initiative with an ability to provide commercial, risk sensitive solutions.
