Finance Officer

Are you looking for your next role in Finance? Our client is looking for a Finance Officer to join their growing team in Whiteley on a 12 month FTC.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the accounts payable inbox, to ensure supplier invoices are entered into the financial system on a daily basis.
  • Assist with entering authorised payments from Accounts Payable into the RBSI EQ payments system to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Process credit card expense forms into the Accounts Payable module and liaising with credit card holders with any queries to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist with the accounts receivable when necessary by preparing/updating and helping with any internal queries that may arise from the client facing teams.
  • Provide support to the Finance Manager in preparing the VAT Returns, regulatory fees, posting client recharges, journal entries and other ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills/experience:

  • Previous Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger experience is required 
  • Strong administration and organisation skills are essential
  • Computer literacy skills and familiarity with payment systems 
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy 

Summary:

Duration: 12 month FTC
Location: Whiteley
Pay - £30,000-35,000 p/a
Hybrid working
