We have an opportunity with a high growth international services business, based in Portsmouth, who are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant with IFRS knowledge.
Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant include:
- Support primarily the Group Finance teams in maintaining a strong external audit interface, audit progress and provision of high quality, accurate deliverables from audit inception to closure on a day-day basis
- Support oversight of the external Group & UK Statutory audit fieldwork plan deliverables for each entity in scope
- Review of audit information requests, directs the teams to deliver accurate, complete submissions, supporting with clarification / review as required.
- Coordination of teams and resources, arranging meetings to resolve any ambiguity
- Supports the teams in the submission of evidence samples and any explanations to auditors
Skills and Experience of the Senior Financial Accountant required:
- Fully Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA
- IFRS knowledge
- International business exposure
- Extensive External Audit and Financial Statement preparation experience
Duration - 6 months
Salary - £65-75,000 per annum
