We are partnering a global professional services and solutions business with their search for a Financial Accountant on a 6 month contract.
A PE backed business, they have a rapid growth trajectory and are looking for ambitious and career driven people to join their team on a contract basis.
As part of their global accounting function for the Group, the role will include:
- Preparation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations, management, and statutory accounts, along with technical finance accounting activities.
- Group-related accounting, including Pensions, Leases, IFRS2, IFRS9 and is responsible for the Head Office recharges globally.
Candidates will either have experience in:
- Group accounting experience or have a background in professional practice and/or Financial Services.
- Part of fully qualified candidate who has good knowledge of IFRS and of UK VAT with strong Excel, partnering and communication skills.
- Candidates should offer strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be collaborative in nature and keen to join a fast-paced, busy team!
The role is paying £40 - £45k on an FTC basis, operates a hybrid working policy (1-2 days on their Portsmouth office) and free parking alongside a range of benefits.
