Financial Controller

Job Description

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a rapidly growing business in their search for a Financial Controller who will be responsible for the UK & European entities. 

Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include:

  • You will oversee all elements of financial management, whilst building strong  relationships with different stakeholders to direct and guide internal teams as necessary
  • Ensure all Group reporting from the UK company is completed according to group reporting timetables and in compliance with group accounting policies
  • Be responsible for budgeting, estimates,  reviewing monthly performance analysis and management reports
  • You will monitor key financial processes in accordance with key strategic priorities and have some involvement in tax related tasks 
  • Take a lead working with different stakeholders within the business in building continual improvement processes as the business continues to go through a large growth phase

As the Financial Controller, you will be:

  • A Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) 
  • Leadership and people management skills
  • Strong relationship building skills with non-finance stakeholders, providing robust challenge where necessary
