Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a leading UK services business based in Reading in their search for an FP&A Analyst. The business have implemented an excellent long term hybrid working model, with an expectation to be in the office two days a week.  
 
 Reporting to the FP&A Manager, responsibilities will include: 
 
 - Responsible for supporting the annual budgeting, and forecasting processes. 
 - Gain clear understanding of the finance proposals, including costs drivers, KPIs and outcomes expected, challenging where required. 
 - Provide accurate and timely analysis of financial information. 
 - Support delivery of financial plans through timely and accurate analysis and reporting – highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances. 
 - Gain a good understanding of consolidated cashflow through regular reporting and reviews – providing commentary. 
 - Drive continuous improvement with the finance team.  
 - Regularly influencing and presenting to senior finance management, key findings from financial analysis. 
 - Work closely with Integrated Business Planning team to ensure development of long-term business plans. 
 
 You will be: 
 
 - A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). 
 - Sound experience in FP&A function with a proven track record in adding value. 
 - Strong analytical and Excel skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders.  
 - Comfortable presenting financial analysis to senior management, challenging where necessary.  
 - System experience with SAP preferable.
