Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a rapidly-growing SME in their recruitment for a Management Accountant, on a contract basis.
This role is newly created due to the recent acquisition of 2 business units, and there will be a strong chance for this contract to convert into a permanent position after the new FD has completed their handover period.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Ownership of daily banking for the Group
- Maintain existing Excel models
- Review and provide recommendations to the management team on processes, systems and streamline current processes
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Develop new business processes for onsite till reconciliations on a weekly basis to improve cash control
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong bank reconciliation experience
- Advanced excel skills, knowledge of complex Finance models
- Studying towards either CIMA or ACCA is highly desirable, but not essential
