Venture Recruitment Partners are working with an established SME in their recruitment for a Management Accountant, on a contract basis.
The role is an initial 9-month maternity cover, however there is a strong chance of this opportunity being converted into a permanent position.
It's an exciting time to join a business who are currently going through a steady, sustained period of commercial growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Ownership of daily banking for the Group
- Maintain existing Excel models
- Review and provide recommendations to the management team on processes, systems and streamline current processes
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Develop new business processes for onsite till reconciliations on a weekly basis to improve cash control
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of a working in a multisite organisation
- Strong Excel skills, ideally with knowledge of Access Dimensions
- CIMA or ACCA qualified is highly desirable, although QBE application will be considered
