Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a manufacturing client near Portsmouth in their search for a sales ledger Clerk for a 3 month contract.
This role will work alongside the wider finance team to help ensure credit control issues are dealt with in a timely manner with a customer focussed attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, issue, and record customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure that invoices are accurate and compliant with company policies and customer contracts
- Production of specialist Customer consolidations schedules and Invoicing in line with Customer SLA’s and requirements
- Processing manual invoice and credit requests, ensuring the appropriate authority as specified in the authority matrix has been applied and to ensure the nominal ledger code is correct and distribution in line with Customer Care Notes
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding collection targets and improving cash flow, demonstrating your ability to deliver tangible results
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Proficiency in using credit management software and other financial tools to efficiently manage accounts and streamline processes.
This role is based just outside Portsmouth and offers a hybrid pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 at home.
It pays £13.50 - £14.50p/h
