Senior Finance Business Partner - Digital and Data

Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to partner with a global business in the recruitment of a new role.

This role will be the key finance partner to the Digital and Data leadership team in managing, reporting on and optimising both BAU and transformation budgets; (£100m for 2024).


We’re looking for a high calibre individual with first rate communication, collaboration and business partnering skills.

Key performance areas:

  • Strategic Partnership and Insight: Act as trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Digital and Data Leadership Team leveraging financial acumen to provide comprehensive insights that drive strategic decisions.
  • Dynamic Performance Management: Continue to improve and refine performance measurement tools and processes, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities in real-time. Provide critical intelligence to the leadership team for informed decision-making, enabling swift course corrections and optimised performance.
  • Strategic Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement: Support a comprehensive strategy for cost reduction and efficiency improvement across Digital and Data. Alongside the Digital and Data leadership team, identify opportunities to reduce expenditures without compromising quality or guest satisfaction, fostering a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Governance and Financial Control: Oversee governance and financial control environment to mitigate risk and ensure smooth audits.
  • Team Strategy, Management and Engagement: Manage a team of 2 FBPs and drive team strategy and engagement, realising efficiencies and fostering a culture of continual improvement.


About you:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified and ideally degree educated.
  • Demonstrable business partnering experience at a senior level within a global business.
  • Ideally offer experience supporting a tech or digital team and of managing others
  • Good analytical ability with strong attention to detail, offering high levels of resilience to an ever-changing business environment.
  • Frist rate communication skills with the ability to present plans to support business decisions to both finance and non-finance
  • Have experience in a global retail or similar consumer facing organisation with a continuous improvement
  • Have worked in a cost management focused role.
