As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a team, leading on group month end accounts, and managing the balance sheet. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical accounting experience and is strategically minded and keen to bring innovation to a role.
Senior Financial Accountant – The Role
- Managing and developing a team
- Lead on the preparation of group month-end accounts
- Managing the balance sheet – including planning and forecasting
- Responsible for capital planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Play an integral part in capital prioritisation for agreeing the capital plans
- Manage VAT accounting and provide advice on all VAT related matters
- To be one of the main points of contact for internal and external audits
- Supporting cross-functional reporting and accounting
Senior Financial Accountant – Requirements
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Experience working with large and complex organisations
- Up to date knowledge of accounting standards such as UK GAAP or IFRS
- Proactive and solutions oriented with experience of strategic thinking and innovation
Senior Financial Accountant – The Package
- Salary - £58,000 - £68,000
- Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the office
