Venture Recruitment Partners are assisting a large UK corporate, based on the outskirts of Southampton, in their search for a Tax Accountant. Principally covering Corporation tax and VAT compliance for an allocation of companies within the Group. There will be an expectation to be in the office two days a week. This is an initial 6 month Fixed Term Contract.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of UK and offshore corporation tax computations including budgets and forecasts and other corporate tax compliance
- Financial reporting relating to tax balances including deferred tax
- Maintain balance sheet controls and compliance with internal controls for tax
Experience & Qualifications:
- Tax knowledge, with expertise in Corporation tax and/or VAT
- Experience of processing large amounts of data
- Technically up to date and aware of industry and legislative changes
- Accounting and/or Tax qualification (e.g. ACA/ACCA or ATT/CTA)
