Steve Le Bas - Audit Partner - BDO
Steve has more than 25 years’ audit experience working for BDO LLP and it’s legacy firms on the South Coast. He is currently leading the BDO LLP Southampton audit practice. A key focus has been in the motor retail arena, where Steve has provided a quality audit service to listed and larger corporate businesses.
Outside of the motor retail sector, Steve also works predominantly with owner managed businesses, and private equity backed businesses providing a quality audit.
Dominik Stokes- Finance Director - Jordans & Ryvita Co Ltd
Dom Stokes is the Finance & IT Director for Jordans Dorset Ryvita and has more than ten years experience helping to grow premium FMCG brands.
Prior to joining JDR, Dom was with Twinings where he progressed from Internal Auditor through to Finance Director - initially as FD for South East Asia, based in Bangkok, and latterly as FD for the Global Tea Supply business unit.
Sam Cooper - Finance Manager - Arqiva
Sam qualified at Ernst & Young and spent five years working mainly in financial services in Reading and Jersey (Channel Islands). On returning to the UK he joined Grant Thornton in Southampton as an audit executive. His long term goal was always to have a more commercial role, so he left practice to join Arqiva. Arqiva is a company that no one has heard of but everyone uses. The company transmits all Freeview TV and Radio in the UK.
Sam started in management accounts to gain an understanding of the company before moving onto a commercial role where he supports the account managers on bids as well as completing the forecasts.
Lucy Larner – Financial Director - Hanover Investors
Lucy is a seasoned Finance Controller with ten years’ experience in building and developing finance teams in fast paced SME environments across a variety of industries from fashion, media and telecoms.
As a chartered accountant, Lucy is currently the Finance Director at Hanover Investors, a specialist investor that operates in under-analysed and illiquid markets.
Charles Keenan - Tax Assistant Manager - BDO
While studying at the University of Bath for a bachelor's degree in Mathematical Sciences, Charlie completed a one-year placement for NHS England as a statistical analyst. After Graduating in 2015, Charlie quickly moved on to his first tax role in London working for Westleton Drake.
In July 2016, Charlie then moved to Grant Thornton in Southampton, where he worked in an audit role and qualified for his ACA, before finally moving to BDO Southampton in February 2021, where he joined the corporate tax team.
Nicky Hollamby ACA - Associate Director of Finance - MSP Capital Ltd
Nicky is a Chartered Accountant who trained as an auditor with Grant Thornton, where she gained significant experience working with a wide variety of clients from small owner-managed businesses to PLCs. Since joining MSP in November 2017, Nicky has focused on growing the finance team as well as ensuring they provide real time data and analysis to the wider team to allow informed decision making.
As Associate Director, Nicky oversees the financial operations, working with the Directors and Board to strategically enhance the current capital structure. Working closely with external partners, Nicky also ensures that MSP continue to have certainty of funding and the capital needed for MSP to reach its strategic goals.
