Assistant Accountant

Venture Recruitment Partners are assisting one of Southampton's fastest growing SMEs with their recruitment for an Assistant Accountant, on a part-time basis.

If you are a well-rounded Finance professional, this is a great opportunity to make a real difference, within a close-knit team.
The business are ideally looking for someone to work 15 - 20 hours per week over 3 days, but will be flexible on your working pattern, as well as offering weekly home working opportunities.

Based out of the business’ enviable Chilworth offices, you will shape your own role as the business start to bring Financial duties in-house.

Amongst other duties, your responsibilities will include:

  • Credit Control
  • Organising subscriptions and consolidating pricing structures
  • Reconciling purchase orders through Xero
  • Preparing VAT returns
