Assistant Accountant

Job Description

We are pleased to be partnered with an international business in their search for an Assistant Accountant to support the wider finance team. This role is initially a 12 month FTC, but has the possibility to go permanent at the end.

The successful candidate will be eager to learn, have a strong transactional finance background, and be able to work across a range of teams.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise sales invoices for a variety of different teams 
  • Collating costs for various areas of the group
  • Track logistics for transportation of goods 
  • Reconciliations, including the General Ledger 


About you:

  • Extensive knowledge of Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
  • Experience with reconciliations 


This role is based in Central Southampton and offers a hybrid structure of 3 days a week in the office and 2 at home.
