Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be supporting a global manufacturing business, based in Andover, in their search for a Finance Analyst on a 9-12 month contract.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Support the FP&A Manager in providing insight and commentary on financial performance
• Business Partner with R&D to enhance profitability on existing product portfolio through value engineering.
• Manage process for approval of standard cost updates including maintaining Standard Costs in D365 for all three business units
• Support the FP&A Manager and the Finance Manager with asset audits.
• Liaison with the business on overhead spend for all product categories, ensure that all relevant accruals and prepayments are made timely and the accounts are a true and fair reflection of spend.
• Support the businesses AOP [Annual Operating Plan], and monthly Flash forecast processes relating to manufacturing costs. Clearly explain business and financial drivers behind key movements and work closely with departmental budget holders on developing corrective courses of action to ensure the business exceeds its financial objectives.
Key Skills include:
• Minimum 3 years work experience of Finance acquired within manufacturing/distribution/retail with exposure to standard costing.
• Part qualified or passed finalist CIMA/ACCA.
• Excellent communication skills with experience of building relationships across all levels of the organisation including interaction with an external shared service centre.
• Able to prioritise and work independently with limited supervision.
• Operates with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail, recognising the impact of inaccurate master data.
Salary - £45-50,000 p/a
Hybrid working - 2-3 days a week in the office
