Finance Officer

Location - Wells 

Rate- £28,000- 29,000 p/a

FTC- 13 months 

Venture Recruitment Partners are looking to speak with Finance Officers who would be interested in an exciting role with one of  our best-renowned clients. The business have a track record of converting temporary contracts into permanent positions. They are also willing for the right individual to work up to 4 days a week from home.

You will be in charge of reconciliation of cash and transfer postings as well as resolution of queried items.
You'll also ensure that all direct debit receipts are correctly allocated to customer accounts.
You will deal with incoming correspondence to include but not limited to: post, emails and answering telephone calls.
You will also provide credit control service cover for Financial Operations Team Leader including:

  • Timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments
  • Maintaining contact with customers to ensure invoices are clear for payment
  • Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices


The ideal candidate will have experience working with computerised accounts systems and be able to pick up new I.T. systems quickly. Knowledge of working in a transactional processing team would also be an advantage.
