Management Accountant – Staines

Up to £45,000 + Study Support
Hybrid working (2–3 days in the office)

I’m working exclusively with a long-standing client to recruit a Management Accountant to join their growing finance team in Staines. Following a recent acquisition, this is an exciting time to join the business and this role will sit at the heart of ongoing change, improved reporting and business growth.

This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant (AAT Level 4 minimum) looking to step up from a transactional or Assistant Accountant role into a broader, more hands-on management accounting position. You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller within a friendly, close-knit team of five, gaining exposure across the business and the chance to make a real impact.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of a varied and evolving workload, including:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts

  • Balance sheet reconciliations, including inter-company accounts

  • Fixed assets accounting, prepayments and accruals

  • Standard cost updates and margin analysis

  • Sales, margin and working capital reporting

  • Payroll support and ad-hoc financial analysis

  • Foreign payment runs and purchase ledger cover

  • ERP system input and process improvements

  • Audit assistance and support during year-end

  • Involvement in wider finance projects as the business continues to evolve

About You

This role would suit someone who:

  • Is AAT Level 4 qualified (minimum) and studying towards ACCA or CIMA

  • Has a strong grounding in accounting fundamentals, ideally from an Assistant Accountant or similar role

  • Is confident with Excel and finance systems

  • Is proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership of their work
